Where are the products made?

We make all our haircare products by hand from our base in York, UK; using quality ingredients sourced from other ethical, UK suppliers. No animal testing occurs at any stage on any of the ingredients. All ingredients are Non GMO and Vegan friendly.

What's the scent in the oils and balms?

Each product has a different scent due to the different blend of essential oils. They all contain Neem Oil which has incredible benefits but does have a naturally strong smell which may be the dominant scent, especially when warm. No residue is left once the products are washed out.

Can these products be used on dyed hair?

Yes they can. All of our products can be used on all hair and scalp types.

How much do I use?

A little goes a long way. An amount the size of a £2 coin should be enough to cover the scalp in most cases. More can then be applied through the hair and ends if needed.

How long does a hair oil or balm last?

If using on average twice a week, one oil or balm will typically last around 6-8 weeks.

Can I leave the pre-wash treatments in overnight?

Yes you can. Just be aware that there may be transfer onto the bedding so I recommend wearing a Satin Bonnet or putting a towel on the pillow. Also, Neem Oil smells stronger when warm so try using less until you are used to it.

Who can use these products?

Our products are suitable for all hair and scalp types. All of our products have undergone cosmetic safety testing and approved for use by anyone over 3yrs old.

What's your refund policy?

We hope you're satisfied with your purchase, however, if for any reason there is a problem with your products, please reach out to us using the contact form and we'll endeavour to make it right. Any tips?

After applying the oil or balm, a good tool to use to massage the product into the roots is the IV Beauty Scalp Massager. 

When applying through the ends of the hair, using IV Beauty's Bamboo Wide Tooth Comb to comb it through helps to distribute the product and add extra softness.

It's always recommended to shampoo your hair twice (even when not using our products). The first wash removes any debris from the hair follicles and enables the second wash to penetrate better, leaving your hair exceptionally clean and better able to feel the benefits of hair treatments (including ours!).

Do you offer a refill service?

Unfortunately not at the moment but it's definitely something we'd love to do in the future. We're always looking for ways to be more sustainable. Stay tuned!
